"Gumdrop's Revenge" Video from Radio Recession

Stop Motion Video done by the album cover artist.
Check him out here

Pick your poison:

Story:
The cops destroy ONEdependent's pirate radio station. He thought, "Peace to that mista overserer". But this really pisses off Taki76, who rushes to tell the cops to "stop diss'ing the broadcast". The cops respond by setting up a battle front, but Taki76 takes 'em all to task. The cops increase their proselytizing from the help of the aliens who control FM radio. The cops seek to destroy ONE-76 musical front by shooting lasers at Taki's mem'brain'. At first, Taki76 takes off in his own little musical exodus, but then he then decides to confront the alien's 'face to robot face' . He works his way through the maze of the TurtleGreen mother ship only to be told by 'The Evil Alien Fetus' of the hopelessness of his ONEdependent spirit. Taki76 says pfft and destroys that simple green ship. He and the Fetus both ditch that burnin' cop haven and fight 'Face to alien face' to death, back down on earth. Their bodies combine into the new Radio Recession album. G'won and grab a copy before the cops confiscate'm!!!

Max from the Goats

The Goats are a classic hip hop group of Philly that may pre-date the Roots. Well, maybe not predates, but about the same time. Either way of historical sequence, a true philly voice.

The link is not embeddble probably because the record label is screwing them.

Max is now in a group called Black Landlord. Something you should check out too.
full live band and all.

here is
"typical American" from The Goats
click to it cause I can only link too it.

Here is some black landlord. Recorded live at Larry Gold's Studio. The same studio that did some John Legend stuff and most of the Roots work...
the horns remind me of Mulatu Astatke for a little bit.
